Got the 12 pack of personal training sessions with Mona. She was great. Wanted to improve my core and upper body strength and overall fitness. Great sessions, worked within my limitations and to achieve goals. In 12 sessions I doubled my plank time and increased my over all strength.

Not your typical gym/studio.
I can’t say enough good things about Bliss and it’s CEO and Bliss Bringer Mona! I’m embarrassed to admit I haven’t written a review considering I’ve been coming here for over a year. It’s not your typical gym/studio. Mona works really hard to make Bliss a welcoming environment that builds community between patrons and encourages them to actually have fun and enjoy exercising. Primarily I’ve worked with Nicole the personal trainer to build strength and recover from back surgery. Nicole is creative and kind and tough, which is the perfect combo for me. Plus I get stickers after working out And I’ve been getting massages with Joanne as well. Who uses the Hendrickson technique to help my muscles relax which helps immensely with my chronic pain. Bliss also hosts fun events like rounding workshops (yoga and meditation) and sound healing. I’m so lucky that Bliss exists, so that I can have my exercise and self care needs met in one place. (Not to mention the studio is beautiful and unique with its exposed beams and skylights!) Go seek out events and exercise at Bliss

I have been receiving personal fitness training and massage at Bliss Fitness and Health. My trainer Carrie is awesome, and Mona is an excellent massage therapist and is helping me work out my tight shoulders and neck from excess computer work. Looking forward to taking classes there as well!
I was so lucky to find Bliss!
I had been considering finding a personal trainer to help with my fitness goals for a while, and Mona is just about the best I could have hoped for. The studio is very focused on what the client’s goals are, what is important to that person, and how to achieve those goals in a healthy way. I feel like Mona pays very close attention to my form and progress, and is always mindful of injury or other body issues. For me it’s a shoulder issue, so she modifies exercises as needed and checks in to make sure we’re not aggravating anything. The studio itself is warm and inviting with a great set of gear and different areas for different things. And there is easy and free street parking! I *highly recommend* Bliss and Mona for any and all training/fitness/strength/conditioning needs!

When I first started going to Bliss (first for classes, then for both personal training and classes), I had recently given birth to my first child and was hit with the realization that I needed to be physically stronger and more fit so that I could do all the things that I wanted to do with him.
Through personal training and attending classes at Bliss, I have developed an awareness of the muscles of my body that I never thought possible. This gives me tools to check in with my body — no matter what I’m doing — to ensure that I’m using the appropriate muscles and helping to guard myself from being hurt.
The owner of Bliss Fitness, Mona, has so many superpowers. Among them is her ability to make working out fun and to help you develop that body awareness that allows you to connect what you’re doing to the body part doing it. I literally never knew I had lats before working out with her. Now I know what my lats are and how to engage them when cooking, working out — even sitting at my computer!
When I started at Bliss, I had been nursing a three-year knee injury. The Bliss instructors and trainers worked with me to strengthen the muscles around my knee and change my movement patterns. I used to avoid squats and would have to brace myself before doing them. Now, I do squats when gardening just cause I can and it feels so good to use my body in a purposeful way.
Working with Bliss has made me stronger, increased my endurance, and given me an appreciation for exercise that I NEVER thought possible, so much more confidence, and even love for my body.
You won’t regret it. =)
