Group Classes

Have you ever joined a group fitness class that made you feel like you were at an awkward middle school dance again, with everyone earnestly avoiding eye contact? If you have, and that’s held you back from trying a new studio, we are here to change that experience! We will make you feel like a guest of honor whether you’re checking us out for the first time or if you’re one of our regular visitors. Our classes are small in size so it’s easy to feel at ease with us. We encourage introductions and interactions among our students so that everyone gets a chance to really know each other beyond “the person with the ponytail and purple and black leggings.”

Our class curriculum focuses on movement that feels fun, safe, and achievable for all fitness levels. We offer classes that incorporate functional movement, core strengthening, and stability, HIIT, TRX, yoga, dance, stretching and foam rolling. We welcome all bodies and believe in gratitude for what our bodies can do rather than shaming ourselves into working out because we “should”. We encourage our teachers to bring creativity and personal flavor into their classes rather than offering boring cookie-cutter workouts. If you come to us with an open mind and a playful spirit, you’re bound to find your new favorite classes with us.

Class Descriptions

Our group fitness classes aren’t cookie-cutter workouts – we like to keep our sessions fun, funky, and unique. You will still find the modalities you’re familiar with, like circuit-based training, TRX, HIIT, and yoga…but some of them come with a twist. Our classes often include partner work or other group participation activities to foster a sense of community.

TRX Stable & Strong

This class emphasizes building and maintaining a strong, stable core while toning all muscles to keep you balanced, lean, and powerful in all the ways you move your body.

This class will include a significant amount of TRX exercises to engage your core and build strength. Additionally, you can expect a variety of techniques that may be drawn from (pilates mat, yoga, barre, muscle sculpting and core conditioning) to subtly and actively challenge you.

NOTE: Due to COVID-19, this class is currently unavailable while the studio is closed. See our Stable & Strong class that’s been reprogrammed to be virtual workout friendly.

Stable & Strong

Normally at this time we’re hanging onto our TRX straps, but now that we’ve gone virtual, we’ve re-programmed this class so that it works towards achieving the same effects as the TRX Stable & Strong class.

This class emphasizes building and maintaining a strong, stable core, shoulders, and hips while toning all muscles to keep you balanced, lean, and powerful in all the ways you move your body.

It’s a low-impact workout, but highly effective. 

TRX & Chill

This TRX class has everything you need to close out your week!

  • 45 minutes of super-charged TRX exercises to strengthen your body
  • Upbeat (non-cheesy!) movement-inspiring music to lift your mood
  • 15 minutes of mindful stretching, foam rolling, and whatever is needed to release the tension of your week and the kick-ass workout you just completed
  • Mini happy hour libations* and hanging out with your workout buddies after class

Rebel Recess

“Less like bootcamp, more like recess.” Because we think workouts can be fun, but still deliver an ass-kicking.
This unique approach to fitness takes strength, agility, balance, and short burst cardio exercises and puts them to work within partner exercises, good-natured games, and other lively activities.

This is not a cookie-cutter class, so come with an open mind, a playful spirit, and a willingness to engage with other students.

This is a moderate workout.

Core Galore

Connect deeply with your core through functional movement patterns and breath-centered activation inspired by Pilates, yoga, and daily activity!

Exercises to strengthen your “core” often focus on only the abdominals but this class will incorporate your entire torso! Building strength and stability to support your spine, activate your glutes, and protect your joints while powering-up your abs. Expect to be standing, kneeling, laying down, and some unusual use of props!

Exercises will be taught with an all-levels approach and include options to build or decrease intensity so that you get the best experience for your body that day.

This class lasts for 45 mins.

Props you’ll need: a yoga mat. (If you don’t have a mat, a blanket or towel will work to cushion you.)

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
  • Find your flow with us in this all-levels vinyasa class.
  • Set to music, you will be guided through a creative sequence of poses, linked by mindful breathing. This meditation in motion will safely help you build strength, stability, and flexibility.
  • These classes help you tune in to the rhythm of your body and leave you feeling empowered.
  • None of our yoga classes are hot yoga/heated classes.
Embodied Flow Yoga

This practice will explore what embodiment means – how can we use a yoga practice on the mat to understand body-based information and to enhance the quality of life off the mat? Come expecting to move through a sometimes vigorous, flowing sequence, exploring functional movement patterns and classic yoga postures. Leave feeling balanced, relaxed and connected to self and your yoga community!
